  1. April fools is the best day to announce genuine shocking news as everyone would think it’s a joke etc.

Imagine if they made the Australia announcement last year on April Fools, or the voting change on april fools this year, everyone would have been like “Nah”

Then the EBU be like, “Yah”

  2. Hungary #32 a bloke who gets more attention for his looks. I’m not fond of his voice and the song is meuh
Ireland #27 nice song but forgattable
Latvia #4 great song, good singer, modern, possible winner
    My vote goes to Latvia

  3. Latvia: 2nd
    Hungary: 41st
    Ireland: 43rd

Well at least I can vote against two of the shittiest songs of the year in one go, the fact I get to support my 2nd place is a great bonus. “Heartbeat” feels like the natural continuation of Aminata’s ESC career; a little more accessible with a singer who’s willing to move around a little more on stage. If there’s any Justs-ice in the world, Latvia should easily improve on 6th place, and I don’t think a win is out of the question.
