The Artist:

Nina alias Danica Radojicić was born in 1989 and she is currently studying at “Beogradski Glas”, a music school run by Aleksandra Kovac. She has already competed in numerous festivals all over the Balkan.

    Nina is born in 1989 as Danica Radojičić in Belgrade. Since childhood, this young artist had shown major talent for music. At the age of six she enrolled in the primary musical school, graduating in piano and solo singing. Subsequently, along with regular high school, she also attended musical high school. She graduated from high school as best student in her generation, and is currently an outstanding student of the 3rd year at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
    The Children’s Cultural Center and the “Golden Mermaid” competition marked the beginning of Nina’s career as a vocal performer, and later as a singer-composer. In fact she won first prize three times and a special prize once. Taking part in ‘FEDEMUS’ she also won several first prizes, for interpretation and composition.
    Since 2003. Nina competed in various national music festivals winning awards again. This was followed by participation in festivals in the region: Rožaje, Banja Luka and others. Among her performances abroad, she stresses with particular pleasure the participation at the ‘Coventry Peace Month’ Festival in England, and the “Silver Yantra” Festival in Bulgaria where she won first prize for interpretation.
    She likes to listen to “Muse”, “Duffy and other pop and alternative music performers.
    In February 2010 Nina founded a band called “Legal Sex Department”. Performing as the lead singer she is well known to connoisseurs the Belgrade club scene.
    She won in national contest for Eurovision Song Contest on February 26th in Belgrade with song Magical composed by Kristina Kovac and will represent Serbia in Düsseldorf in may 2011.
