Serbia: Selection Goes Public!

Serbia – National broadcaster, RTS, has announced Serbia will choose its Eurovision representative in a new way this year. For the last two years an internal selection has been used but this year a  selection programme ‘Pesma Evrovizije‘ will be aired on TV. 

Australia’s Guy Sebastian to Tour UK

Former Participants – Australia’s first ever Eurovision representative, Guy Sebastian, is heading back to Europe this Autumn to tour the UK supporting former Westlife singer, Shane Filan. He represented Australia at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, finishing in 5th place.

London Eurovision Party – Hot on the heels of the news from Amsterdam about their preview party on the 14th April 2018, London has responded by confirming it will hold its preview party a week earlier. You’ll be able to find more details at londoneurovision.com once they are announced. 

Eurovision in Concert 2018 Date Revealed

Eurovision in Concert –  The biggest preview party of the Eurovision calendar, namely Eurovision in Concert which takes in Amsterdam each year, has announced its 10th anniversary show will be held on 14th April 2018.  

Portugal: Festival da Canção Moves Cities, National Final 4th March

Portugal – With next year’s Eurovision Song Contest taking place in Lisbon, national broadcaster RTP has announced that their national selection, Festival da Canção, will take place this year in the city of Guimarães. This year’s winner of Festival da Canção will go straight int the ESC grand final as the host nation’s representative. 

Lisbon Confirmed and Grand Final on 12th May

Eurovision 2018 – It has officially been confirmed that Eurovision Song Contest 2018 will take place in Lisbon on 8th, 10th and 12th May 2018.  The venue has also been confirmed, unsurprisingly, as the MEO Arena.

Eurovision 2018: Lisbon Set to be Announced Tomorrow?

Eurovision 2018 – It was announced earlier tonight that there would be a press conference tomorrow evening, where it was expected that we would discover the venue and dates for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. It now appears that the announcement has been leaked early by local newspaper Observador.
