  1. Obviously Latvia. I like Hungary too but it isn’t nearly as good. Ireland is a disaster.

  2. Spanish song acoustic :-)

  3. Kaleo,The ETSC#3 representatives of Iceland have released a new song and it’s becoming a hit:

  4. Speaking of Ireland,Irish Radio 2fm accuses other radio stations in Ireland of avoiding playing “Sunlight”.It’s simple. The song is no good. What do you want them to do? :P

    • Attention seeking…

    • that’s an ongoing saga of many years in Uk/ireland about playing ESC songs on radio, in UK as I understand, euro songs were never played unless they reached the top 40, only on some random radio 2 nobody listened to, and then they reached the “Top of the pops” show on a Thursday evening and became one hit wonders! same thing today I guess, an example of top of the pops one hit wonders:

    • Nicky’s well cut jeans don’t help him in radio.

  5. actually i kinda like Ireland’s entry… not a prank

    voted for Ireland

  6. April fools is the best day to announce genuine shocking news as everyone would think it’s a joke etc.

Imagine if they made the Australia announcement last year on April Fools, or the voting change on april fools this year, everyone would have been like “Nah”

Then the EBU be like, “Yah”

  7. Hungary #32 a bloke who gets more attention for his looks. I’m not fond of his voice and the song is meuh
Ireland #27 nice song but forgattable
Latvia #4 great song, good singer, modern, possible winner
    My vote goes to Latvia

  8. Ireland got my vote… Happily sitting in my top 10 at #8

Hungary is my #23 and Latvia all the way down at #34

  9. Latvia: 2nd
    Hungary: 41st
    Ireland: 43rd

Well at least I can vote against two of the shittiest songs of the year in one go, the fact I get to support my 2nd place is a great bonus. “Heartbeat” feels like the natural continuation of Aminata’s ESC career; a little more accessible with a singer who’s willing to move around a little more on stage. If there’s any Justs-ice in the world, Latvia should easily improve on 6th place, and I don’t think a win is out of the question.
