Eurovision 2017: Results of Semifinal 1


Eurovision 2017 – Tonight we finally saw the first semifinal, with 18 entries participating and 21 countries voting all together chose the 10 finalists! Find out which they are! Comment, discuss and analyze with us!

After a 2h show that made us see the rather good stage in action, one of the worst ever openings in the Eurovision, three boring and anonymous hosts, the ten countries that qualified were finally announced. And they were:

  1. This pidgin English is really embarrassing … Don’t they have presenters with a better command of English in Ukraine?
    I will probably only watch the first half of the final. LOL

  2. I think I may jump in just for the 2nd half on Saturday if Bulgari picks one of the 3 places remaining there as well lol. Ok Azerbaijan is first half as well.

  3. The five songs I like are in so it’s a good result. I won’t say “Greece doesn’t deserve the spot!” because it will backfire at me and Australia… :P I enjoyed Cyprus, glad they’re in, the live performance helps (I didn’t hate it at half of the song).
