Australia – Mitch Tambo and IOTA have been revealed by national broadcaster SBS as the next two artists to be competing in this year’s Australia Decides. They join Casey Donovan and Vanessa Amorosi in the final which will pick Australia’s representative in Rotterdam.
Australia – Our Antipodean friends have decided to use the national section programme Eurovision – Australia Decides again after last year’s success of Kate Miller-Heidke.

Australia – Australian national broadcaster, SBS, has confirmed that it will, once more in partnership with Blink TV, select its Eurovision representative by internal selection. It’s the fourth year that this process has been used and has proved successful to date.
Former Participants – Australia’s first ever Eurovision representative, Guy Sebastian, is heading back to Europe this Autumn to tour the UK supporting former Westlife singer, Shane Filan. He represented Australia at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, finishing in 5th place.

Australia – Isaiah Firebrace, the 17-year-old winner of this year’s Australian X Factor has said he wants to perform at Eurovision. The teenager was mentored by Adam Lambert during the programme.
Eurovision 2016 – Yesterday saw several of this year’s acts perform at the Eurovillage in advance of semi-final 1. Dami Im drew lots of support from enthusiastic Australian fans and wowed with her fantastic live vocals and piano playing.
Australia – Dami Im‘s song, ‘Sound of Silence‘ is now available to listen to in full online. Dami was born in South Korea, and emigrated to Australia with her family at the age of nine. She began her music career as a gospel singer in Korea and independently released her debut studio album, Dream, in 2010.
Australia – The western world woke up this morning to a teaser from SBS, with a short snippet of the Australian entry, ‘Sound of Silence‘ by Dami Im. The full song will be premiered at 21.30 (CET) tonight on The Feed show, shown on SBS2.
Australia – The rumours proved true and it was no surprise when Dami Im was today announced at the Sydney Opera House as this year’s Australian representative. Her song will be revealed on 11th March.

Australia – According to Fox Hit Radio station in Australia, the representative for them will not be Delta Goodrem as rumoured, but another name that has been bandied about, Dami Im. She is a Korean-Australian singer and songwriter.
