Italy – 12 participants have been announced for the 69th San Remo music festival and there are familiar and exciting names. Returning are Il Volo, who finished 3rd in Vienna with Grande Amore after winning the televote. Another familiar name is Nek, who was 2nd in San Remo in 2015 and has sold 10m records.

Italy – The first 69 songs that have entered Italy’s San Remo music festival have been published online by Rai, the national broadcaster. It is expected that Italy will choose its Eurovision representative via San Remo, with the winner being offered first refusal.
