  1. A lot of talk about Madame and “Voce” : A very interesting artist and an eccentric song but I am not sure I enjoy the vocals tbh.

  2. Finally something new for Italy in esc if they go! But I do prefer BC from Finland in teh genre. If they go full punk in esc (Italian entries tend to look worse in esc than in SR because of the orchestra, but obviously this isn’t true for such a song), they can get televote with them (but lower than Hatari who were way more memorable) but juries can kill them as they did Hatari! Once more, can this take “some” votes from Iceland and Lithuania in the “it’s different” category (regardless of genre and aesthetics)?

  3. Listened to the final reprise and my opinion kind of improved. It is a very impactful and passionate live even for rock norms and that will make it memorable. The bridge is the strongest part but the chorus gets repetitive and tiring.
I am not sure IF they (he?) to go to esc how they will fare.

  4. A surprising SR winner. Have demographics moved to younger ages there? It’s another case of performance outshining a ptretty basic song. Out of the 3 superfinalists, this would have the biggest potential in esc but I doubt ITA will trouble top 10 this year (when there’s already FIN)
Ideal scenario is they decline and we get Irama or the Italo Empire of the Sun :P

  5. On MF – Clara and Paul are in the final. :) They and The Mamas have my top 3 songs there. These ones sound alive and kicking. Will the 3 ladies manage to upstet Mr. B’s plans again? He clearly wants them out of the picture. Everything is ready for Tusse’s and Dotter’s flimsy songs and vocals. Saade’s song would work better with an actual singer and a less pretentious stage presentation. The plot thickens. :)
