The contest will be set in Vilnius studios and will be hosted by Augustė Nombeko and Giedrius Masalskis. The 30 songs were split in two with two qualifying rounds of 15 acts: but tonight only 6 qualify to the semi-finals!

Watching the European Figure Skating Champs from Espoo after a rather tough day…

I’ve just watched the last group skate. The French guy who is leading was very good.
Adam Siao Him Fa? He could be a new European decent skater but not necessarily a world medalist, but could win European title for sure! A bit for Aymoz, only 4th for now, I’d love both on the podium, like when Joubert and Amodio were both skating!
However, it’s a bit sad but tonight France was watching the Handball world championship, France-Germany in quarter-finals! France won by 7 goals :D but that means much less people watched figure skating :(

I see he has been quite critical of other entries like Blanca and Agoney. But where does this arrogance stem from? Obviously he sees himself as a favourite.
The vague arrogance stems from the fact that one has to have some of experience to criticize a colleague in whatever one does. He will learn as time goes by. Winning the preselection ranking is very little. I am waiting to be wowed what he will do on stage; there will be dancing galore, that is for sure, because singing live is not his strong point.

I cant’say that I am a fan of the song. No one saw Konstrakta winning last year. I remember there being a huge favourite that did not rise to the occasion. Let’s wait and see.

I was writing something about Benidorm Fest but it is pointless if they fail to see their points distribution is wrong (96 ma/ks/ for unanimous winner of the jury versus 80 ma/ks/ of the winner of televote and demoscopic). There’s a room of combinations of jury voting where there’s not even a chance of a tie LOL
If there are reasons for people to complain then they can’t pretend all the backlash has to do with radical bad fans.

It’s not just matter of artists, composers and front runners, most of the stage comes from last year too, though stairs are divided to two and the led wall can be opened.
Ugh they’re rapidly racing to the point where nobody outside Sweden and Bubble fanboys will care about MF. It has been dire for years and I doubt I’ll be checking it out much at all this year.

All NFs have good and bad times, and MF seems to be on a downward slope atm. I hope that things will get more interesting again in the near future.
They lost viewers, round 10%, last year. If this is actually a trend, it will be a wake up call for SVT. It’s the only thing they are interested in. So better times might be approaching .
Recycling the stage is fine. :) Recycling the same composers and singers over and over again is not. The dwindling ratings may persuade SVT to make some necessary changes. Hoping for the best.
Interesting to see what is their pain tresh hold. When it goes beyond 3 or beyond 2,5? Going under 3 could be very close now.

It sounds better in Norwegian. Unfortunately, Ulrikke ignores the meaning of subtlety when she is performing live. She loves wind machines, fire curtains and shouty vocals.
I enjoy both versions and “Honestly” has really grown on me.

I’ve always liked it since the full song release. Not a HUGE fan of the live, with the pink dress, I would have gone more modern-urban girl kind of style, but vocally she was the best of all NMGP and I like her on stage way more than Elsie. Unlike many people on ET, I’ve been a fan of Ulrikke in 2023 as well as in 2020 I just like some songs more.
She’s good at what she is doing but unfortunately I am not part of her target audience.

At least we’re finally beyond the 50 shades of grey again.
It’s pretty diverse so can’t complain there – my main fear is that Ikke will win TikTok and then the show. There’s nothing on the voting modus yet, is there? They may do a Superfinale to avoid that.
According to eurovision.de you can vote on TikTok once per day. In the preselection show there will be 50 % international jury and 50 % Public (televote, sms, online).
I think on TikTok it will be Mallorca (Ikke) against Metal (From Fall To Spring) against Deutschpop (Jona), whoever mobilizes the biggest fanbase…
