  1. Meh, I wanted to be surprised. But it will certainly work since both have proved to be good at this before. Just not too much focus on themselves though.

And I want Dolph Lundgren to do the greenroom talk. :P

    • I have no idea what’s wrong with them. Petra was amazing in MF 2009 and though not as good in esc 2013 because of the format imo, she was still one of the rare memorable hosts of the 21st century! Mans was a good solid MF host and he has such amazing charisma…plus a cute dog :D

            • At least her version of Ukraine 2011 will be legendary for many years. :) And I agree on the script. Anke is only 100 % fantastic if you let her do and say whatever comes to her mind first. She is a very witty comedian, a talented actress and a great singer. Improvisation has always been her thing.

        • That’s true, the producers of the show tend to follow a certain ideal of what a TV show is, with rules and perfect hosting with nothing said outside the box, so Petra had to end in that mold, and we failed to see her MF self

          • If you want to come across as politically correct in over 40 countries, you necessarily end up being lame and boring, in particular if those countries have very different cultures and ethical frames of reference. Whereas jokes on religion would be perfectly acceptable here in Germany, there would be outrage in Poland f. e. Russia, on the other hand, would be more than happy with some bad jokes and prejudices about gays, but then the outrage would be in Sweden and other Western countries …

  2. Nothing really inspiring. When it comes to hosting I prefer unseen talent, not recycling former winners. However, Petra and Mans have shown they can do a good job. At least this edition won’t have the unnecessary third host!

  3. YES ! Expectes but still a great choice and a great duo. If Mans gets to do the green room interviews could that start a tradition when it comes to winners (after Conchita last year) ? Could be interesting !

  4. This is fantastic this was my 2nd preference option. Love Mans, and Love Petra.

Only thing that would have been better would have been to have SDF as Lynda Woodruff present the whole thing alone!

Petra is a great comedian and her humour is very similar to the British humour. She has some of the most memorable lines of the decade.

To Linda Martin “I know a drag queen when I see one” ;)
