Denmark – Tonight is the night of the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix National Selection. After two years of not qualifying to the final, Anya was able to qualify to the final in Kyiv so Denmark really do need to make it through again. Who do you think is Denmark’s best bet?
Italy – Tonight is the final show of the San Remo Festival meaning that at some point over the weekend, RAI will be confirming who will be going to Lisbon in May. There are twenty artists in the Big Artist category with four of them being previous representatives of Italy in Eurovision.
United Kingdom – A big week for us British Eurovision fans this week when the BBC revealed their potential representatives as well as releasing the songs. Next month, in a public and jury vote, a winner will be chosen and a ticket to Lisbon given.
Spain – Operación Triunfo comes to an end on Monday when Spain will be selecting who will be representing them over the border in Lisbon. In this past week the songs were released so we were able to hear them for the first time.
France – So far, France have seen the first and second semi finals of their national selection process Destination Eurovision. Eighteen acts have been cut down to eight after an international and national jury selected their top four from each show.
Eurovision 2017 – So it has come to an end. The 2017 edition of the Song Contest in Ukraine has ended and next year we will be learning Portuguese after Salvador Sobral’s win last night. Here I want to look back at the events of this year. Good and Bad.
