FYR Macedonia – Tonight the Macedonian Head of Press has revealed that we can expect a special surprise on the Eurovision Stage at Vienna. Daniel Kajmakoski who will sing “Autumn Leaves” released his music video this weekend
The animated music video for “Autumn Leaves” finishes with an incomplete ending and apparently “Daniel wants you – the fans – to decide the final version of the video and the fate of its character”

“Daniel wants you to know that his performance of ‘Autumn Leaves’ at Eurovision will have a ‘surprise element’ to it that he has not announced yet! All will be revealed live on the Eurovision stage in Vienna but Daniel wants you to know that he is rehearsing this surprise both day and night just for you”
Daniel Kajmakoski will be appearing at the London Eurovision Party as well as Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam later this year. He follows Tijana Dapčević who failed to qualify in 2014 with her song “To The Sky”.

Maybe they will do a Ukraine 2011 and project live drawing on LED screens?
Or actual leaves.
Still it will be difficult to find autumn leaves in late May…

Although I am not a fan of the new version,I believe “Autumn Leaves” deserves the final!
I think they will project this animated story with an ending the fans or most of the fans will provide.
I was thinking of upgrading this entry at 6/10 but the new version is so mainstream it hurts. Still I agree our neigbours deserve the Final this year (even though they can achieve it marginally)

I like the new version. It’s gone up my rankings with the English version. I think Donnie is right with the live drawing. Was it Romania the other year that had that guy who painted AS he sang in the national final
Ooh, I so hope they go with this idea. The potential for it backfiring on-stage is stupendously huge.

Once upon a time FYR Macedonia had a great song called “Lisja esenski”. Unfortunately they decided to completely destroy it. It’s not the english language that bothers me, it’s that they changed the instrumentation.

nothing, I just noticed he wears it when he appears at the end of the video. It’s a shared tradition in Greece, Bulgaria, FYR Macedonia and Romania to wear it during March.
To wear it until you see a stork…then you hang it on a blossoming tree 😊here only Turks from Bulgaria wear it…A friend of mine brought it for me…she keeps going to Bulgaria to become a citizen 😊
I completely agree. I never liked Daniel, even through X Factor. He is great singer, and he had nice song for Skopje fest. But revemp failed completely if you ask me, it is not even interesting to listen to it now, I don’t understand why did they mess up with the arrangement so much that you can’t actually feel excited about it anymore. It still has lovely melody, but it lost the power. Same as Malta :(
