Eurovision Sites – As most of you will know, this is by far not the only Eurovision website on the web. A lot of fans have their own blogs, websites and forums. The online tool alexa.com offers the possibility to see how often a website is visited. I have taken the time to test all Eurovision websites I know (over 70) to find out which websites are the most visited on the web. This Top10 only includes inofficial fansites. The number behind the site indicates its place among all websites worldwide:
1. ESCToday.com – 112.840
2. oikotimes.com – 493.248
3. escdaily.com – 613.218
4. The Eurovision Times – 675.270
5. eurovisionary.com – 748.216
6. escnation.com – 764.726
7. wiwibloggs.com – 905.697
8. esckaz.com – 930.000
9. All Kinds of Everything – 952.093
10. belgovision.com – 987.858
Now as I said this is according to alexa and does not have to be right. Nevertheless, thank you for your visits ^^
Alexa is notoriously wrong and a terrible barometer of traffic. I tried to go to that “All Kinds Of Everything” site and it is not even online.
It works for me ^^
Yeah it is working for me now too. They were down earlier. It’s an ok site i guess.
The All Kinds of Everything guys have provided the best and most objective blog during the two ESC weeks (rehearsals!) in the last couple of years.
But in general Eurovision Times is becoming my number 1 site, I guess.
They always had Lena not even in the top 10 and Ireland very high… sometimes they can be very Ireland baised…
Yes but not because they are biased but because they are démodé and therefore base their predictions on what would have done well or failed in the 90s. :) Everyone who read their blog with a twist last year knew that Lena had very good chances to win imo. (I have followed those guys’ blog for years and I have learned to make 2010/2011 reality out of their 90s talk over the years … :) …)
Eurovision Latest – http://escaddict.blogspot.com
Some great sites there nice list
But I think your site is probably the best, anyway. I like ESC Daily too.
we need to take the first one DOWN, they’re my nemesis, hateful articles, no personal ideas, horrible blog comments, grrrr
the eurovision times by far the best website :)
As one of the editors from ESCDaily, this makes me happy!
I gotta say also, good job here too! We tend to report facts, but it’s nice to get an opinion or two here and there! :D
Congrats Liam ^^ And we’re gonna get you lol ^^
As long as we both beat Oikotimes ;)
exactly ^^
Okay, and apparently one of my friends has suggested that my previous comment was suggesting a rivalry with Oikotimes.
It was joke suggesting that we’ve got ambitions to grow and improve as a site, not that we have an issue with anyone else out there who is reporting the news of the contest we all love so much.
And c’mon, I put a winky face there and all!.
of course.. I didn’t understand that in any other way ^^ We are all Eurovision fanatics (my friends say idiots ^^) and shouldn’t fight
I have to admit this is one of my fave pages on the whole Internet (yes and I do have a life too;)
what about eurovision.tv? they are not among the ten???
they would be #1 but as I wrote only “unofficial sites” are in this Top 10
Anyone know…is the semi-final running order draw today or tomorrow?
tomorrow
Thanks
Belarus 11 is out:
out and about! I like the studio version.
Sound like a song that has been cobbled together within a few hours only. And then there are the lyrics … Belarus stays in my bottom 5 with their 3rd attempt too.
eurovision.tv is THE official site, we can’t take it down it’s where we KNOW for FACTS eurovision related things, the rumors dont appear there but also none of the minor inside debates one can have that they dont relate… of all the unofficial i like this one better, coz i trust and know manuel as a great guy who trusts me back and because almost all the eurovision buddies i had over the years are here for me to talk with and enjoy (Togravus, Shevek, Roselil, Paschalis and the new ones i met here, Luis, Ravzan…)
speaking of which, did you notice the staging infos and all? http://www.eurovision.tv/page/news?id=27063&_t=exclusive_details_on_duesseldorf
I am glad they’re going for a small stage.
Agreed. Eurovision.tv is 100% official. I prefer to comment on sites such as ET, whwre I can find knowledgeable fans that do not shout at each other.
This is my favorite of the ESC sites I visit, not only for the news and opinions, but also the community I find here! Even when we disagree, we’re not biting each other’s heads off like the forums on some other sites. Well done, Manuel! :-)
We should totally have some sort of meetup for Eurovision fan site moderators while we’re in Düsseldorf…granted, my site is small potatoes compared to others, but still! ;-)
I really want to meet you!!! ^^
Definitely!! As soon as I arrive in Germany, I plan on getting a prepaid Handy (as my American cell phone won’t work in the EU), and I’ll send you my number. I’ll have my computer with me, so facebook is always an option, too. :-D
so ya’ll all going to Dusseldorf??
are you venus??
I don’t think I am:( School duties will not allow me time off in May, sadly.
i dont think i am
too bad
I haven’t made up my mind yet. I friend of mine has two spare tickets for all shows and I can have those if I want to but on the other hand I simply love the annual party at my parents’ house (people of all ages, shapes and colours having a great time together …). I guess that I will decide towards the end of April …
may is terrible period, it’s exams in uni in france so i really have to be there, i guess i could only come for the esc week end but that’d annoy people i guess
May it’s a terrible period for me too at my college and it’s close to exams, so i can’t go to Dusseldorf :( .
wonderful. Unfortunately I can only be there on Saturday (uni stuff) but we should definately be able to meet ^^
I’ll be there from April 30th all the way through the 15th, so just let me know when you’ll be around! :-)
I agree 100% with you Samantha. This is also my fav ESC site, especially for the peoples i find here which are very civilised and respect one’s opinion even if they don’t agree. And i like very much the posts and that the site is very well organised. :)
You have a site too, Sam? Where can I find it?
i also use escvibes forum btw, my other greatest friend Niko is there
“The ESC Insider”! Been working on it for a little over a year now. It’s definitely not as big as ET, but I have fun with it! It’s mostly my personal opinions, with some news and a lot of history. I kind of gear it towards ESC newcomers, but all are welcome! : -) escinsider.blogspot.com
Well, considering that I have watched every ESC since 1976 I probably don’t qualify as a newcomer but I immensely enjoyed the quick glance I had at your blog nevertheless. I love reading well-founded and objective analysis, and that is what I found on “The ESC Insider”. I have already bookmarked the site and will come back later tonight … :)
Thanks, Toggie! ::hug!:: Tell your friends! Heck, tell your enemies! ;-)
it became no.1 for me.. congratz euorvisiontimes:-)
we should a party with manuel one day!
honey… I think you’re too old for that much stress ^^
how old are you guys??

hmmm…. you must be 7-8 years than me… smth like 27-28???
