Finland: YLE Announce The Rasmus for National Final


Finland – Finnish broadcaster YLE today announced that international rock band The Rasmus will be performing at the “UMK” (Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu)” final. They will perform their new single “I’m a Mess” on the show for the first time anywhere .  Other performers will be Anna Abreu, Paradise Oskar (last year’s Finnish eurovision contestant in Dusseldorf), Felix Wenger, Minna Tervamäki, Eun-Ji Ha and Linda Haakana.

The final will take place on 25th February 2012 from 20.00 and will be streamed live worldwide on the Internet.

Finnish fans have been voting in the fan barometer on the YLE website and Jari & Taika: “Aamuyön Ikuisuus is still in the lead.  A jury will decide the final 20 for the 4 televised semi-finals, and then only 12 songs will make it to the final.

Tickets for the final, which will be held at the Ice Hall cost €40,00 or €30,00 and are available from Lippupalvelu here.
