It is time for our “Premath” contest! Soon, we will reveal ET’s final rankings before rehearsals, in this year’s Extravaganza statistical deliciousness that we call The Eurovision Times Premath 2024
Our regular host isn’t here this year to reprise his role as Premath host, so I’ll be stepping in this year to make sure we get a Premath ranking nonetheless, even if at a smaller scale (only 2 weeks left before rehearsals). This poll combines the ranking of all the participating users’ top 10 songs in this year’s contest and will be revealed in a dramatic finish from the country that got the least amount of votes to the winner of this year’s Premath. This is the first part of two polls that will be held this season. The second one being the ET Aftermath, which will resume later this year after Eurovision has been held!
Now it was all up to you how you wanna rank your top 10 songs, but with many live performances still at an early stage, we don’t know how it’s gonna sound or look on the ESC stage yet. So a moral guideline was to try and rate according to the studio versions of the songs as it also creates a slight difference from the ET Aftermath, where everything from the song to the live performance in the contest is ranked. This was not a criteria, just a guideline, cause in the end it was your personal top 10 that mattered!
29 people took part (34 last year) and this is what we got:

The full scoreboard:
Congratulations to Lithuania for winning ET Premath 2024! It’s already the third time (out of 7 editions) that Lithuania wins our Premath contest! If in 2020 the contest cancellation meant that Lithuania’s victory stood, in 2021 Lithuania did not win Aftermath (France did). Will they manage to grab the Aftermath win for the second time this year?
Croatia got 10pts from me.
Whaaaat? :o
ET overhyping UK. There is a first time for everything.
P.S. I had points for the UK too.
UK got 5pts from me.
I do think they have a chance to do very well with the juries but I think this may be bottom 5 with the televote.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijam released its music video and (I may be wrong) there is a minor revamp.
Last night I dreamed that “Veronika” won Eurovision, “coz all the favorites sucked in the end” but I had missed the contest live and I was just told the news :o
Slovenia is one of the stagings I am most curious about. All their fate depends on it.
On the other hand, I’m sure some of my favourites will underperform and bring bad visuals.
And here are my 12 pts. I sincerely hope that Raiven can at least qualify from SF 1.
That was also kind of unexpected :/
I had forgotten about this…
Just in time for the Top 5!
Indeed
You were 3rd to vote, so long time ago!
:)
The score gap between the first and the runner up indicates that Italy won imo. Had the difference been smaller Lithuania could hav taken it.
Yes I knew who won very early in the voting I must say: but for me the “fight” for second place or for Top 10 made it exciting!
Norway in the TOP 3. Only on ET … 🙂
Another to the point prediction from me! :D
I also expected Italy to win … I guess it will be Lithuania now.
My thoughts too. Let’s see…
Bingo!
Now I can say Italy is my 29th lol And that is just because she is a great singer. I doubt about it chances, I am not sure if people likes it that much, for me it is like everybody has it between third and fifth so that is why it is doing well in all the polls. Curious about how many 12s it got.
It’s an amazing prediction: it only got one 12pts… and that was the very last voter! I expected it to stay without a single 12pt throughout :o
So Lithuania?
Well Croatia did shockingly bad. I guess silent voters were not fond. Switzerland and Belgium did better than expected. Slovenia overrated same as Portugal.
I do hope it’s Lithuania at least. Not Norway. Those vocals….
Phew
It was evident after the wave of comments supporting it after its poor result with the Eurojury LOL Like 10 of us replied saying good things about it :P
Thanks Morgan :)
I feel like ET felt forced to give the victory to my own favorite lol
My points in a more readable format :
1 point to Spain
2 points to France
3 points to United Kingdom
4 points to Azerbaijan
5 points to Luxembourg
6 points to Lithuania
7 points to Belgium
8 points to Italy
10 points to Sweden
12 points to Switzerland
I was the only person to give 12 to Switzerland. I am glad that brought them to the top 5.
Glad Italy and Belgium did well as well same as Lithuania winning.
4/5 in the top 5 for me :) I have Sweden instead of Norway.
No Cristina also gave Nemo 12pts!
Oh you are right ! Hi Cristina whoever you are 👋
Congratulations to Lithuania. I like the song a lot, but it isn’t a standout entry exactly, at least imo. The TOP 3 got my 7, 6 and 5 points.
Me, Dino and Porsteinn voted for the entire Top 8 and Togravus voted for 9 of the Top 10!
Netherlands results came with only 3x10pts! Same as Ireland, who only got three voters for it (12+8+5)!
Slovenia and Croatia got 3x21pts, even Latvia and France both got 2x12pts when Italy only got one, from the very last voter! Belgium was 4th without one (but second most voters behind Lithuania), when Switzerland had two!
I seem to have become very mainstream. LOL
We are the trendsetters! 😎
Taking a look at the scoreboard… It seems I am the biggest supporter of Spain and Armenia here :)
And wow at the fact it took Switzerland 6 voters to score after Morgan and still making to the top 5…
Spain? I’m surprised.
Congratulations to Lithuania…
I hope Gåte win in Malmö.
Nonsense, Kaleen will triumph.
:D
I fear that Gåte are too controvesrial, especially with Gunhild’s vocal style. I wouldn’t mind a Norwegian win personally, especially after that ludicrous Maya the Bee on a war footing number that was so popular last year.
agreed! Kind of hoping Norway for a win, , though not seeing it myself
am guessing this year will be based on more than ever t#elevote v jury
Croatia? maybe due to similar last year? tbh I have no idea….
I still believe that Italy will win. I have said so ever since Angelina’s first SR performance and I haven’t seen or heard anything that made me change my mind yet.
You have a point there…
Germany’s points came from the last two voters :)
