Some jury votes revealed!

Some of the votes of the National Juries of this year’s Eurovision are starting to pour in. We now have the information for Romania, Turkey and Portugal.

They seem to indicate that winner Lena from Germany got more points from the televoters and Tom Dice’s great place for Belgium relied mostly on jury votes, but see for yourself:

  1. The portuguese televoting has definitely given points to Germany, because Armenia which was voted by the jury didn’t get points from Portugal from the 50-50 voting. I guess Germany got 1 or 2pts from the televoting.
Clearly the 12 pts went to Spain and 10 pts to Romania.
I also guess Russia got at least 4 pts from the televoting since they got 2 pts from the 50-50 voting.
Moldova probably got 7 or 8 pts (otherwise they would have got less points from the 50-50 voting)
Other definite countries in the televoting top 10 are Denmark, Belgium, Greece and France. Norway got 0 pts otherwise Russia would get less points in the 50-50 voting.
So I guess the portuguese televoting is:
    01 Germany (4 points overall = 1)
    02 any country but Armenia
    03 Belgium (8 pts overall = 5)
    04 Russia (4 pts overall = 2)
    05 France (12 pts overall = 7)
    06 Denmark (7 pts overall = 4)
    07 Greece (19 pts overall = 8)
    08 Moldova (10 pts overall = 6)
    10 Romania (20 pts overall = 10)
    12 Spain (20 pts overall = 12)

  2. I thought televoting was more important than juries in case of a tie : then shouldn’t Turkey’s 1pt go to France and not Ukraine (both at 4pts)

  3. Maybe it’s not interesting anymore, but it’s possible to extrapolate the most televoting results in Romania:

Belgium has 10 jury points, so the upper (combined) placed countries without jury points need at least 10 (Greece) to 12 (Moldova, in higher position) televoting points. Conclusion: Belgium in lower combined position than greece (10 p.) haven’t reached any televoting points! So, the countries ranked between belgium with only 10 jury points and greece 10 televoting/0 jury points also have 10 points in combination: armenia (6 jury) & 4 points in televoting and the ukraine (8 jury) & 2 in televoting.

Turkey with 7 jury points needs 5 points from televoting (4 given to armenia) to be ranked higher than greece, but lower than moldova with only 12 televoting points. Romania gave 2 points to spain, so the televoting points have to be 6 or 7 (the 5 points reserved for turkey) and higher ranked germany 7 or 8 points from romanian televoting!!! The only remaining candidate for 6,7,8 televoting points is danmark – not possible for countries ranked lower than albania! So this is the most likely romanian televoting result:

    12) MOL
    10) GRE
    8) GER or: GER # DAN
    7) SPA or: DAN # GER
    6) DAN or: SPA # SPA
    5) TUR
    4) ARM
    3) XXX (most likely azerbaijan)
    2) UKR
    1) YYY (most likely georgia)
