Luxembourg – The Luxembourgian broadcaster RTL has told esctoday.com that the Duchy will not send an entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Azerbaijan. Luxembourg was one of the founding members of the Eurovision Song Contest but has not participated since 1993. The Duchy won on 5 occasions (1961,1965, 1972,1973 and 1983).Here is arguably Luxembourg’s most popular entry:

I hoped they would return after Germany’s win or Belgium’s good placing in 2010… Too bad, they would be my hope for another French song!
