Malta – The 12 acts that will take part in XFactor Malta live shows have now been chosen after last night’s final judges houses programmes were aired. This year’s winner of XFactor Malta will represent the country in Tel Aviv and win a recording contract with Sony Italy.
Malta – Tonight sees the start of the Maltese selection for Eurovision as XFactor Malta begins. The Maltese representative for Tel Aviv will be chosen via this method this year. The first programme sees auditions in front of the judges, and airs at 20.50 (CET).

Malta – Last night the Maltese picked their representative for Lisbon and Christabelle won the lucky ticket with her song ‘Taboo‘. She won the international jury and was also a narrow winner with the televoters too.
Malta – PBS Malta has announced the 16 contestants battling for the chance to represent their country at next year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon. A professional jury, including international experts, selected the 16 finalists from 30 entrants over 3 days if auditions.
Junior Eurovision – The winner of 2015’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Destiny Chukunyere from Malta, has auditioned for the Britain’s Got Talent TV show and her audition is due to be aired tonight, 20th May. Destiny performs an Aretha Franklin song, ‘Think’, to impress the judges.

Malta – Last night saw Malta choose to send longtime hopeful Claudia Faniello to Kyiv to represent them. Claudia has tried many times to represent her country at Eurovision and is finally successful. She will sing the song ‘Breathlessly’ in the second semi-final on 11th May.
Junior Eurovision – Today’s the day for 17 young artists as they battle it out in Malta for this year’s Junior Eurovision crown. The final starts at 16.00 (CET) and can be watched on the officialJunior Eurovision YouTube channel here.

Eurovision 2016 – Two of this year’s Eurovision participants have already struck up a friendship. Ira Losco (Malta 2016) has visited Iveta Mukuchyan in Armenia.
Malta – The representative of Malta, Ira Losco, has today revealed the replacement for her original song ‘Chameleon‘. After criticism of the song, Malta has decided to somewhat controversially change it. Her new song for Stockholm is called ‘Walk on Water‘ and the official video was revealed today.

Malta – PBS, the national broadcaster of Malta, last night announced the 20 semi-finalists it had chosen to be held on Friday 22nd of January 2016. 14 will then go through to the gran final on Saturday 23rd January 2016.
Malta – 49 songs have tonight been announced as having made it through the first selection stage. They were chosen from 153 entires, which was more than last year. Next will come semifinal and a national final, with shows on 22nd and 23rd of January 2016.
Junior Eurovision – Tonight’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest saw Malta’s Destiny Chukunyere win the coveted trophy with the song ‘Not my soul‘.
Malta – The Maltese national broadcaster, Public Broadcasting Services Limited (PBS) is pleased to announce the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2016, which will be held in January and so confirms the country will be represented in Stockholm in 2016.

Junior Eurovision – The Croatian JESC delegation and members of the Eurovision press, including Eurovision Ireland, are currently held up at Frankfurt airport after they missed connections to Malta and some of them are not best pleased with Lufthansa!
