Hungary: Submissions Open for A Dal 2019

Hungary – MTVA, the Hungarian broadcaster, has announced its intention to send a representative to Israel, and has opened submissions for songs.  Artists have until 8th November 2018 to register their entries to take part in the established national selection process,  A Dal.

Hungary: First Four Acts Qualify for A Dal Final

Hungary – Hungary’s A Dal 2018 competition started tonight with semi-final 1, and four acts were chosen to go through to the grand final in two week’s time. Nine acts were taking part tonight but only 4 could progress through to the grand finale.

Hungary – All 30 songs that are taking part in this year’s A Dal 2018 competition are now available online to listen to. You can find them all on the official site at https://adal.hu 

Hungary: A Dal Finalists Announced

Hungary – MTVA, the Hungarian national broadcaster, has revealed the names of the  30 acts that will compete in A Dal 2018, chosen from 350 entries. The contest starts on 20th January 2018, and there will be three heats, 2 semi-finals and a grand final of 15 acts which will conclude on 24th February 2018. 

Hungary: Enter A Dal 2018 Now

Hungary – Anyone wishing to try and represent Hungary in Lisbon next year can now enter the national selection contest, A Dal 2018. You have until November 15th to submit your entries. The performers of the songs must be Hungarian citizens or Hungarian native speakers.

Hungary: Semi-final 1 Taking Place Tonight

Hungary – A Dal sees the first semi-final take place this evening and we’ll soon know which acts will go into Hungary’s national final. Nine acts are currently taking part tonight but only 4 can progress through to the final. You can watch it here.
