Eurovision 2018 – The UK’s national broadcaster, the BBC, has today reported on new research which has analysed what type of songs win Eurovision over the last 12 years. The research considered if a song sounds happy or not by using a measure of musical positivity called valence, used by streaming sites to auto-recommend new music.
