Norway: Record Labels Threaten to Withdraw from MGP

Norway – Sony Records, Warner Records and DaWorks are ready to withdraw from the national final in Norway over a row with the EBU and Universal Records. The EBU has a deal with Universal for the official CD, DVD, and digital sales.

Nordic Party Held Last Night

Eurovison 2014 – EuroClub hosted the Nordic party last night. Norway’s Carl Espen sang ‘Waterloo‘ with his cousin Josefin, and Sanna Nielsen of Sweden sang a medley. Pollapönk of Iceland and Softengine of Finland also performed, along with Basim of Denmark. Check out Esckaz’s videos here.

Norway: Carl Espen to Copenhagen!

Norway concluded Norsk Melodi Grand Prix with  the grand final tonight. It featured 9 songs, and a superfinal of only 4. In the end, it was a comfortable win for the favorite, Carl Epsen’s Silent Storm who will try to keep the contest in Scandinavia after Copenhagen!
