Iceland: Hatari to Tel Aviv!

Iceland – RÚV, the national broadcaster, concluded Söngvakeppnin 2019, the national final, tonight.  The grand final featured 5 songs and the winners were Hatari with “Hatrið mun sigra“!

Iceland: Eleni Foureira Confirmed for Söngvakeppnin 2019

Iceland – National broadcaster, RÚV ,has announced that Eleni Foureira (Cyprus 2018) will be guest performer at Söngvakeppnin final on 2nd March 2019. The news came hot on the heels of the revelation of the ten artists that will compete to represent Iceland in Tel Aviv. 

Iceland: Songs Revealed Tomorrow!

Iceland – RÚV, the national broadcaster, will launch the country’s national final, Söngvakeppnin 2019, this Saturday at 20.45 CET, with a half-hour programme to briefly introduce the ten songs in the running, their writers and singers. The real competition starts two weeks later.

Iceland: Söngvakeppnin 2019 Details Revealed

Iceland – The Icelandic national broadcaster, RUV, has announced details about this year’s national selection, Söngvakeppnin 2019, and opened the submission period. It will be accepting song submissions until 22nd October 2018 via songvakeppnin.is.
