Turin 2022 – This is it! Finally! After the contest’s return last year, and a whole new national final season, tonight we will finally watch the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022!
The hosts are Alessandro Cattelan, Laura Pausini and Mika and the show will take place at the Pala Olimpico, Turin (Italy). The voting will use last year’s format: only juries results will be announced first, with only the 12pts revealed by the spokeperson. Then they will reveal how many each song got in televote, starting at whoever is ranked 25th by juries all the way to the juries’ winner!

Well it is what it is. One of my least favorite winners ever and I am saddened to see this happening to Eurovision.
The good thing to come out of this is I won’t ever listen to anyone complaining about political voting ever again.
Cyprus and Greece, keep exchanging 12 points without shame until the end of time.
UK’s public had UKR, POL and MDA in top3.
Yes Eurovision is about music and not politics

Conclusion.
After pandemic and a brutal sensless war nearby Europeans didn’t warm up at all to fragile ballads. Only Italy received good support.
There were just too many of them. These things stand out only if they are unique.
France one before last in 1998, 2000, 2005, 2015 and 2022! Last only once in our history, in 2014! What a bad era as we were also bottom 5 in 1999, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2012 and 2013!
So… is 2016 repeating itself?
Moldova pulled a Poland, and Ukraine won in the end.
Also, france that low is a crime.
