    • Another big contrast – Ducth producers seem to go fo very different numbers back to back rather than building up from slow to fast over 3-4 songs.

      • The hate Lena still receives from Manga fans is surreal. I mean sometimes it is time to let go. I never felt the need to hate Conchita.

        • That is the reason I am not on social media. I have neither FB nor insta, twitter or anything else, not even WhatsApp. Keeps my life healthy and enjoyable methinks.

  1. I enjoyed the show mostly because the songs had a different style, but in some other cases the poor execution of the staging/camera work/vocals made it funny. One country I would have liked to see in the finals is Denmark even though I didn’t have the song in the top 30 I enjoyed the honest performance and the elements for the entertaiment of the audience at the arena.

      • There was one entry tonight where a cameraman literally ran up and had his entire back (from head to toe) in the frame of the camera that was sending, blocking the singer in their entirety during in the process. I believe it was during Latvia’s performance if I remember correctly.

  2. Why not hold ESC in this wonderful Village in Sweden, where sweet lil Tusse lived with his Swedish family after coming from DR Congo warzone as a 13 years old boy!? :(

    This video is wonderful! <3

  3. Whatever Greece paid for the stage work was a bargain. That was fantastic!

And, they found a spot for Serbia, Albania, and the Loca girl. Can’t complain about that!

I was moments away from thinking Finland was going to get robbed this year as well. But they weren’t thankfully.

    • Oh, here you are! :P

Can you hear a million voices
      Calling out in the rain?
You know we’ve got a million choices
So go get out and let it rain

      A million voices, voices
      A million voices, voices
      A million voices, voices
      A million voices….

      • I never left. It’s just that I don’t have afternoons to watch these shows like I did a few years ago now. So I watch them late after work. Haha

I expanded the Hurricane fan base too. My friends cheered when I told them they made the final. We might start the hurricane NYC fan club. Haha

  4. This semifinal felt less exciting than the first one. The line-up also was weaker imho. The best performances of the evening came from Switzerland and Portugal. I am very surprised by the Swiss staging. I didn’t expect it to look like THAT. :p I had a bit more minimalistic idea on my head but I guess that’s fine too. Iceland’s performance is very cute and positive. I was smiling throughout the whole performance. :D Also after checking the automatic qualifiers, I can safely say France will remain as my winner of ESC 2021. :)

    Here’s how I rank yesterday’s entries (+FRA, UKD, ESP):
    1. 🇫🇷 France 9/10
    2. 🇨🇭 Switzerland 8/10
    3. 🇮🇸 Iceland 7.5/10
    4. 🇵🇹 Portugal 7/10
    5. 🇫🇮 Finland 7/10
    6. 🇧🇬 Bulgaria 7/10
    7. 🇦🇱 Albania 6/10
    8. 🇦🇹 Austria 6/10
    9. 🇩🇰 Denmark 5/10
    10. 🇸🇲 San Marino 5/10
    11. 🇨🇿 Czech Republic 5/10
    12. 🇬🇷 Greece 5/10
    13. 🇬🇧 United Kingdom 5/10
    14. 🇬🇪 Georgia 4/10
    15. 🇪🇸 Spain 4/10
    16. 🇷🇸 Serbia 3.5/10
    17. 🇲🇩 Moldova 3.5/10
    18. 🇱🇻 Latvia 3/10
    19. 🇪🇪 Estonia 3/10
    20. 🇵🇱 Poland 2/10

When it comes to the results, I understand everything but Moldova?? I didn’t expect that at all. It looked and sounded awful imo.
