Eurovision 2021 – Yesterday, the running order for Eurovision semi-finals was announced. The first semi-final will take place 0n the 18th of May and the second semi-final on the 20th.

It is strange that OGAE clubs are ignoring “Last Dance”.I thought the song was right up to their alley as they normally went for that kind of songs in the past.Was Stefania not convincing enough?
Any news regarding Turkey returning?
It won’t happen as long as we get rid of the “cancer” 🙄
They also ignore Croatia, Azerbaijan and Israel. If you don’t have a latin title (El Diablo, Adrenalina) they don’t care :-P
Azerbaijan is getting OGAE points though (even if it feels like Aphrodisiac 2) :P
But Last Dance because of its style is very “OGAE”..maybe having a lot of uptempo songs this year distracted them
The most strange of all is that Last Dance is the runner up in INFE voting :o
Greece is someone I have my eye on for a song not quite high in the betting odds to make an impact during rehearsals. I “like” Last Dance but there’s something that doesn’t click for me with it…it doesn’t sound genuine to Stefania imo and most likely was thrown together by Dimitris and etc. to try and capture the “Dua Lipa” wave, for lack of a better term.
It is outside the general ESC bubble up-tempo banger taste though and I imagine the televote in ESC could be stronger for this than what OGAE would show. If they do have something special lined up for the staging though, it could be a darkhorse.
I think they used David Guetta & Sis’s Let’s Love as sound board for their vehicle.
Maybe, but Let’s dance is nowhere near as good as that one.
No, it really isn’t. If you want to do early 80’s Moroder you should do it like Guetta and Sia. It has very nice Flashdance OST vibe.

Listening to an ESC podcast today and they brought up this video. Thought it was very interesting how Italy is 2nd overall but a clear winner in the amount of 12s it got. As well, Romania finishing 5th (with the 3rd most amount of 12s) and Finland having a lot of Top 3 results are also interesting imo. Now it’s definitely still very much an “in the bubble” video, but with 754 rankings, the variance decreases and we see more concrete favs and what is “likely” to be popular come May (and potentially boosted by the producer running order)
32nd to 39th are all male acts. ROFL

France won the ballad category in 2009 in OGAE but lost to Iceland and UK (and you could say Estonia but it’s not really in the ballad category)
I think they are just parroting the odds winner they were exposed to for the longest time, before Malta came out and startled the pigeons.

You copy paste the URL but the photo has to be in jpg format. If tou can’t see the jpg in the URL then it means the photo will not be visible.
But than I can’t post my own pics because they are not on URL….
Do you have a google account?
Look up for “uploading pictures online” it takes two or three clicks to create a .jpg link of your own picture
I only know how by having an URL that ends in .jpg so I use sites that upload pictures online and copy/paste the url of the picture
