  1. My favorite won ! Such fun and a very charismatic performer who brought all songs to life equally unlike Roxen who underperformed some better songs and is now all red in betting odds.

Best NF for me (so far) too !

    Ranking of Israeli hopefuls :
    1. Feker lebi 7.5/10
    2. Roots 7/10
    3. Savior in the sound 6+/10
    4. Rakata 6/10

Look, Semi 1 has a top 10 now too :D

      • It’s very close. But LTU serves a genre I’m keen on more

PS : Why are you always late on my bandwagons? :P

        • I have the impression the studio version is not the same arrangement to the one we heard tonight?

          • I don’t notice any differences. Maybe it’s the song that grew on you and her charismatic performance that sold it !

    • Much stronger semi! All my favorites are here :(

        • Yes Eden is a star especially compared with the Australian live but i decided to give Montaigne the benefit of the doubt. If it remains like that my ranking will change accordingly.

  2. Second song of the day and second song that sounds like a demo :)
I was going to write she is not a great singer/performer but her “Saviour In The Sound” was very good. Once again Doron Medalie 🙄 After watching “Roots” I don’t get the result, it’s one of my favourite live performance from this edition. She’s not a good dancer :P
    Thanks for posting the videos!

  3. I really don’t mind this at all. It’s a very eclectic mix of different sounds/beats that couldn’t normally be held together, but Eden is an artist who can do that with her bucketloads of enthuasism and charisma. I’m a fan of the intro African beat, don’t like the dated dance-pop song right at the start of the chorus that sounds kind of Madonna-esque, but the jump into the more Middle Eastern sounds redeems the latter part of the chorus to the verse. In a way it’s all strange but very fun. She’s a great performer and incredibly cute. I think the “Haba Haba” comparisons are apt but she is a much stronger performer and a casual viewer can associate this more with Israel than they did back then with Norway. I think this does have good televote potential, especially in what is a very slow-paced 2nd half of SF1.

  5. Songwise Feker Libi was my favorite. Performance wise I though “Roots” should’ve won and would probably gone better in ESC though. I am very happy with this though. Very catchy and she is very good vocally. Just needs some more cohesive staging/choreography. Chorus has been stuck in my head and I have to keep my hips from shaking at work lol.

  6. I just realized that I have some “difficulties” in ranking properly this year’s entries. Maybe because many of them are being revealed straight after one another in a very limited time gap, so I don’t have the proper time to “digest” them :P

  7. High hopes for both entries today – 2 of the few remaining countries that could save this year musically.

P.S. Biden won big last night even with Bloomberg in the run – even in Texas and Massachusetts. If Bernie wants to be viable moving forward Warren must drop out and endorse him soon.

    • well Warren stole a lot of votes from Sanders in the most leftie places (Massachusetts) so I think the coalition of all the “moderate” (I call them capitalists lol) will work for the designation, and then the loss to Trump.

        • I think Trump will win easily in November with either Biden or Sanders as his rival. The Democrats made an unexcusable mistake in 2016 by not picking Bernie. That was a huge lost chance. But that’s how the establishment works.

      • Sanders is really doing everything he can to scare of swing voters – he shouts, he talks over people, he doesn’t seem to listen, etc… saw part of a rally yesterday and he seemed surrounded by women wearing headscarves. That’ll be a big hit with, uh, nobody but the hyper-PC crowd. He’s opening up too many battlefronts at the same time IMO; Warren is far better on all these parameters.
