Just like last year, we will witness Super Saturdays with many shows happening all at once. Instead of opening all threads, hard to follow for everyone, we decided to have just one thread for all shows to follow live so we can all discuss them together.
Seven Acts will take to the stage at the Malmö Arena in Malmö and will compete for the chance to make the grand final on March 7th. The top two will reach the grand final and the acts that come third and fourth will proceed onto the Second Chance round. This is tonight’s running-order:

It’s 100% televote tonight. The first round eliminates the bottom 2 entries. The second round sees 5 entries battling for the four qualifying places, two “direkt til finalen” and two to “andra chasen”. How much do we learn Swedish in MF, really?

Ukraine – UA:PBC, the broadcaster in charge of Vidbir 2020, the national final, will conclude the process of selecting the entry for Rotterdam with the grand final ! Once more, Sergey Prytula will host. Tonight, 6 entries will perform and the winner is selected thanks to a 50% split between juries and televote. The three juries are: Andriy Danylko (Ukraine in 2007), Tina Karol (Ukraine 2006) and Vitaliy Drozdov (producer).

Slovenia – RTVSLO, the national broadcaster, will host the EMA final tonight. Snippets came out already, and the songs were aired once on Slovenian radios. But to most of us, it’ll be a first listen and of course new performances.
There will be 12 finalists this year. The two winners EMA FREŠ will join the 10 already picked entries (out of 74 submitted) for the final. The final will take place at the RTVS Studio 1 in Ljubljana. Here’s tonight line-up:

The winner is selected in two rounds: first, three juries will select the two superfinalists, then 100% televote decides between the two.

Te show tonight will be hosted at RTP’s studios in Lisbon by Jorge Gabriel & Tânia Ribas de Oliveira while Inês Lopes Gonçalves will be in the greenroom. Tonight’s line-up is:

Poland – TVP, the national broadcaster, will host this Sunday the final of Szansa na Sukces Eurowizja 2020 (“Chance for Eurovision 2020 Success”), a talent show that serves as a national final! This is the method that gave Poland a second win in a row in JESC in 2020. The host will be Artur Orzech, who has been the commentator for TVP since 1994!
There has been three TV shows with duels, each show giving us a finalist. The songs were covedr of a guest star featuring in the show. A 3-jury panel chose the winners (the jury members were all former esc artists for Poland: Cleo, Michal Szpak and Gromee).
- Semi-Final 1: Kasia Dereń covering “Mamma Mia” by ABBA
- Semi-Final 2: Alicja Szemplińska covering “To nie ja!” (Poland 1994)
- Semi-Final 3: Lake Malawi covering “Please Please Me” by The Beatles
Each finalist will perform two songs: one cover song and one original song to be their candidate entry in hopes of representing Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020.We already got Kasia’s and Lake Malawi’s. We don’t know what songs they’ll be singing as well during the show.
The finalists will compete and the winner will be determined by a a 50% split between jury and televote. The show starts at 15:15 CET this Sunday.
