Eurovision 2019: Results of Second Semi-Final


Eurovision 2019 – Tonight we finally saw the second semifinal, with 18 entries participating and 21 countries voting all together chose the 10 finalists! Find out which they are! Comment, discuss and analyze with us!

This was tonight’s running-order:

  6. Romania – Ester Peony – “On a Sunday
  7. Denmark – Leonora – “Love Is Forever
  8. Sweden – John Lundvik – “Too Late for Love
  9. Austria – PÆNDA – “Limits”
  10. Croatia – Roko – “The Dream
  11. Malta – Michela – “Chameleon”
  12. Lithuania – Jurij Veklenko – “Run with the Lions
  13. Russia – Sergey Lazarev – “Scream”
  14. Albania – Jonida Maliqi – “Ktheju tokës
  15. Norway – KEiiNO – “Spirit in the Sky
  16. Netherlands – Duncan Laurence – “Arcade”
  17. North Macedonia – Tamara Todevska – “Proud”
  18. Azerbaijan – Chingiz – “Truth”

Italy, United-Kingdom and Germany were also able to vote in this Semi Final as well. The ten countries that qualified were finally announced after a lengthy 100 minutes. And they were:

  1. Wow. Paenda looks so much like a pilates instructor I dated last year. Same body type and everything.

    And oh well, still love Ireland no matter what. Results won’t dampen my enthusiasm for this entry.

    Denmark did the Belarus tonight. She went out there and took a spot.

    And, you may run with the lions, but I prefer to walk with Ieva!

  2. My gut ended up being right: this years sand art was in no way as awesome as 2011’s.

    Even though it was the same person doing it; that art is the best gimmick of all time.

    And I have indisputable evidence to back me up: the sand art is so awesome, that I want the camera to focus on that instead of Mika.

    They managed to make me take my eyes off the cutie, which has never happened before or since. That’s rarer than Haley’s Comet.

    You know your gimmick succeeded when the girl is the second best thing on stage. Haha
