Nice , the list come bigger, but not better , i miss some more real good songs, anyway this is what we have

  4. @Dimitri and Donnie, thanx for the updated version of the Kirkorov song.
I don’t really know what to think of it.
Usually when a song is that bad, I mean reaaaaally bad, it kinda backIashes on me and I can appreciate it. I’m afraid this is not the case :P

  5. 1.052 votes for Italy… :P

  6. FYR Macedonia chooses “Eye Cue”, a pop-rock band. The song is “Lost and Found”, which will be released at a later time.

    • Sounds promising (at this stage of course)… I loved Jana’s song last year when it was released.
…And then came that car crash on Kiev’s stage :(

      • They have had some popular Balkan songs in the past according to Wiki.

I loved Dance Alone in studio as well. I hope Macedonia gets its’ act together, I never like to see a country struggle to make the Final for so long (bar 2012)

  7. A recent Eye Cue song :

I am not too excited but will wait for the song. Could surprise.

  8. Btw: Ermal Meta has been subject of some Albanian tabloid reporting last couple of days. He supposedly called his dad a “bastard” after his family left for Italy, later revealed to have been due to his father’s abusive nature. Meta posted on Facebook calling out the media in Albania

Pretty shoddy reporting, but fortunately there’s been a lot of support from the people for him and the song. 24 points from ALB to ITA is a lock come May.

  9. I read on InfeGreece that the Montevizija snippets are out.

  10. HRT says their song will be releaded on February 26 while the Eurovision.tv article mentioned earlier that it would be released today.Strange…

  11. Georgia’s ethno jazz entry will be revelead in March. It’s in the band’s usual style and contains elements of Georgian tapofonia.Georgian polyphonia was named UNESCO’S intangible culture heritage of humanity.

    • Even if it is listed as UNESCO WH, many fans will call it awful anyway …

      • And if they do not like it they have the right to do so. We wont feel guilty if we dont like something because it is UNESCO WH, the same way you dont not liking contemporary pop.

    • This can go awfully bad or be good. We ll see. We already get a taste of what is going to happen to those who dare not to like though..

  13. Watching Asmik’s interview today just laughed.
Showwoman – How song wad “born”?
Asmik – In UK, I contacted to British composers whose songs I liked and asked to collaborate.
Showwoman – And why decided to take part in Eurovision?
Asmik – Because I want to show how many talanted people there are in Armenia
Showman – ROFL, what a “modesty”!

  14. Anyone familiar with the Swedish series “Modus”, by any chance? Big fan here :)

  15. I’ve bookmarked it…seems to have a good plot!

  16. Dear all

Just your annual reminder about the rules of the forum. I have deleted some posts on this thread and other threads which I felt crossed the line and in response to several complaints I have received over the last week or so from different people.

The only person responsible for what you post on here is YOU. You are responsible for your behaviour. Please think about how what you say may come across as and keep it friendly and civil as ESC season heats up and passions flare. Please avoid personal attacks.

In order to make ET a place people want to contribute and be part of a community, please keep the following in mind.

    – Respect Your Counterpart: The discussion should be founded on mutual respect. You can disagree, but never get personal! Disagree without being disagreeable.

    – Respect Your Fellow Participants: Read everything in the discussion thread before replying. This will help you avoid repeating something someone else has already contributed. Acknowledge the points made with which you agree and suggest alternatives for those with which you don’t. Be thoughtful and generous in your response to other people’s messages – try to consider what might be useful in what they are trying to say even if you disagree with it. Some would say this is the most important guideline of all!

    – No Flaming: Criticism must be constructive, well-meaning, and well articulated. Please, no tantrums. Rants directed at or about any of your classmates or other Eurovision sites are simply unacceptable and will not be tolerated. The same goes for profanity! (Expressions that are frequent in oral English are exempted from this rule)

    – Respect Diversity: It’s a multicultural world in which we live. Use no language that is offensive—or could be construed as such— toward others. Racist, sexist, and heterosexist comments are unacceptable, as are derogatory and/or sarcastic jokes directed at religious beliefs, disabilities, and age.

If I feel posts need to be removed I will do so as soon as I’m aware of them and able to. Anyone continuing to break the rules could be placed on moderation. I hate doing that so please please let’s all get along.

Let’s all enjoy discussing music and Eurovision in the run up to Lisbon.
