ECON – The Eurovision convention due to take place in Frankfurt on 9th/10th September has been cancelled. Organisers have admitted to problems with contracts, financial difficulties and that they should have cancelled it sooner. Many Eurovision fans have aired their frustration on the event’s Facebook page as they had booked flights and hotels for the event.
Recently the organisors had also received death threats and decided to cancel the event due to these security concerns as well as the reasons above.
The organisers say that if you have purchased tickets you can apply for a refund. You can also try and claim for flights, travel and hotels via their insurance company.
