  1. He still is the one who brought the best Australian entry so far. Good luck to him! :)

Off topic: changes were made to the rules of FdC 18; RTP will invite 17 composers; the winner of FdC 17 will invite one more, one composer will be invited via ‘Master Class’ (radio show from Antena 1 – public radio) and the last spot will be taken by a song composed by a Portuguese citizen living here or abroad or by a foreign national living here. There was no mention to the language issue, so I think that the songs may be sung in any known language.

    • And the semis will take place in Lisbon (RTP’s studios), whereas Guimarães will host the final, featuring 10 songs (5 from each semi).

  2. I certainly will be looking at those ticket for the London show, still think Guy was Australia’s best entry they’ve sent so far. <3

  3. I had him in 5th place on my list and he is my favourite Australian ESC act by quite a mile.

Off-topic: After 3 days of constant thunderstorms without temperature dropping, it has become insanely humid here. We only have 30 degrees but the minute you stand up or lift your water bottle, you are covered in sweat.

  4. The three Australian entries are approximately on the same level I’d say. As for “Tonight Again”, I think it was well produced, but the melody wasn’t quite interesting enough.

  5. 2015 > 2016 > 2017
    Australia’s esc ranking.
The last 2 participations were borderline comical (sorry)

    • 2016 was very entertaining for all the wrong reasons. For my loud mouth I got even trolled by those Demistas or whatever those little fan creatures of her’s where called. My comments were intentionally posted on their forum. Not much of challenge there. Nice try it was of course 😃
Her Carpenters covers tell all about her skills as vocalist and her sense of style. This year’s boy was bland fuck, not even bad enough’ to start a banter 😃
They should stay away as they only highlight how of touch the juries are with music.
