FridaEurovision Times Awards 2017 – Every year, the summer is the calm after the storm so it’s the perfect time to resume the “Eurovision Times Awards” to give prizes to the best in every category! After a week in this category, it’s time to announce the winner and hand out the Frida. So who will win?

Former winners are: Norway (2013), Netherlands (2014), Belgium (2015) and Ukraine (2016). And the Frida goes to…


Amar Pelos Dois” was performed by Salvador Sobral. Representing Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, it was written and composed by Luísa Sobral. It won with 758 points. Nominated eight times overall in ET Awards 2017, “Best Top 5 Entry” is its third so far! Congratulations!

There were 35 recommendations for the 5 countries in the first round and 145 votes were cast in an open poll, in exactly one week, among the 5 nominees. The complete detailed results will be announced once all polls are closed so in another week!

  1. Well no surprise here, probably with Bulgaria second then :P Congratz Portugal!

    • or Belgium: don’t forget Belgium beat Bulgaria for Best Internal Selection!

      • Yeah, but that was like the first impressions of the songs and artists, whilst this is more of an aftermath vote imo. Portugal also weren’t in that poll, so that might have gotten a lot of points extra for Belgium :P
