  1. Again an expected result.Finland should have qualified.

  2. Well deserved and should have qualified!

  3. Still can’t get over this.

  4. Not a surprise. I still think it is the most overrated among the underrated songs so to speak. I would have preferred it to be in the final instead of a few others, but I don’t think the melody is that strong. Especially the chorus gets somewhat tiring because of the repeated high notes (“YOU-OU-OU sang when…”). Then of course comes the rather pompous orchestration.

I think if it had been more acoustic (maybe just an acoustic guitar), and maybe performed a note below the current key, it would have worked better. As it is, it is another one of these big fan favourites that I don’t really think can bear it. Others include f.e. “Never Forget” (Iceland 2012) or “Same Heart” (Israel 2014).

I preferred Czechia by miles, but I am probably quite alone on it here.

  5. I still don’t understand what Iceland is doing here. All others were underrated imo. Congrats to Norma John, and I am very happy for Hjallis and Oxi.

  6. The most reasonable set of results, tonight.
    Congrats!!!

  7. I voted for Azerbaijan. Many people are happy with the result so it’s fine.
