FridaEurovision Times Awards 2017 – Every year, the summer is the calm after the storm so it’s the perfect time to resume the “Eurovision Times Awards” to give prizes to the best in every category! After a week in this category, it’s time to announce the winner and hand out the Frida. So who will win?

Don’t Come Easy” was performed by Isaiah. Representing Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, it was written and composed by DNA (David Musumeci & Anthony Egizii) & Michael Angelo. It finished 9th with 173 points. Nominated twice overall in ET Awards 2017, “Most Overrated” is going to be its first! Congratulations!

There were 60 recommendations for 15 countries in the first round and 119 votes were cast in an open poll, in exactly one week, among the 5 nominees. The complete detailed results will be announced once all polls are closed so in another week!

  2. I would definitely say Sweden. I think the Australian song is OK, not so much more than that though.

  6. I love the song but the performance was undeniably overrated by the juries.

  7. I would say that I think Australia was overrated among juries and underrated among televoters. I personally would have had it around 13th place in the final so the 9th doesn’t really bother me.

    Voted for the Croatian cheesefest myself.

  8. Expected. Deserved. Though I wouldn’t mind seeing here some of the televote pets: Romania, Moldova and Belgium.
    As for Australia, I wonder what have the juries heard in those special performances that our ears were denied to hear…
