Best Female Style 2017: and the Frida goes to…


 FridaEurovision Times Awards 2017 – Every year, the summer is the calm after the storm so it’s the perfect time to resume the “Eurovision Times Awards” to give prizes to the best in every category! After a week in this category, it’s time to announce the winner and hand out the Frida. So who will win?

TheET Awards five entries nominated were:

  • BelarusKsenia Zhuk at the Grand Final
  • Belgium‘s Blanche at the Grand Final
  • France‘s Alma at the Grand Final
  • Latvia‘s Agnese Rakovska at the First Semi Final

FRANCE

Requiem” was performed by Alma. Representing France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, it was written by Nazim Khaled & Alexandra Maquet and composed by Nazim Khaled. It finished 12th with 145 points. Nominated three times overall in ET Awards 2017, “Best Female Style” is its first so far! Congratulations!

There were 74 recommendations for 19 countries in the first round and 125 votes were cast in an open poll, in exactly one week, among the 5 nominees. The complete detailed results will be announced once all polls are closed so in another week!

  2. I’ll do the next awards soon, it’s Top 14 final tonight between Clermont and Toulon: after 2 finals together in the European final, they NEVER had a finale together in the French Top 14 lol

    Also, ETSC is great way to guess new esc artists: last year alone we had Dihaj and Triana Park ;)

  3. Maybe Shevek has already posted this but Salvadro declined Jimmy Fallon’s invitation to appear on his show.

    • PJ posted it. His doctors were adamant – no can do. We sort of forgot about his condition, which remains very serious. Let’s hope there’s a happy ending to this narrative.
