It feels inevitable that Italy will win this semi-final, judging by its baffling popularity. It should have been knocked out in the heats. Certainly doesn’t deserve to win. My vote goes easily to Macedonia.

Evridiki was my winner of 1992 back then. Not sure now. It was not a great year. Bad winner, a joke of a runner up and of course the third song in English (tacky) for bronze.
yeah i hate the top 3 completely: I have a clear top 3 clear of the rest imo (Italy, France, Greece). I hate most of the jumpy schlagers who imitate Carola’s horror.

He’s great on stage. Gabbani and the Belarusian lady are pure energy.
Italy down to 1,6:1 in the odds, perhaps among the all-time historic lows. Bulgaria’s odds go up to 10:1 after the rehearsal.
Both songs are in my top 10. However Italy performs its entry in a much more engaging way.

Jana is not the best live performer but she is competing against my No. 42 by quite some margin so of course she gets my vote.
Today I feel more optimistic that Bulgaria will do this and not allow Gabbani to win in the contest itself so he can take TEKO as a consolation prize for all I care :)

Nah something tells me after today’s rehearsal Kristian will need much less than that to take the trophy :) But it will be even better if it is a convincing victory for Bulgaria by a big overall margin !

Well it’s like last year for me – Last year it was anyone but Russia. This year it is anyone but Italy. Yes I can survive with Portugal winning even at worst case scenario – just not Italy.
Best I can do is use my 20 votes the best way I can to prevent it to the degree I can.

Voted for Italy respecting Francesco’s artistic values. Fyrm’s song is my favourite one of the season.

First of all, thanks to Gregor for the fun Aftermath! There was a bit of an issue with my votes (not counting UK’s 2), but overall it was a great way to see all of your hot takes :P

Third, The ranks of the songs Italy is facing by the second are just higher and higher. Middling Finland, Top 10 Portugal and now Top 5 FYROM. Jana’s growing… but Italy had to take it this time too.
