“Verona” was written by veteran Estonian composer Sven Lõhmus. After winning Eesti Paul 2017 on 4 March, it will be performed by Koit Toome and Laura in Kyiv! The full result of the duel is listed below.

82 votes (56%) Estonia – Iceland 64 votes (44%)

This means that Estonia has moved onto the quarterfinals and that Iceland is eliminated. Come back tomorrow for the results of the final duel, duel 8!

  5. off topic as a long weekend with my husband and esc is upon us, my husband’s favourite euro song of all time is (and he hates ESC) :

    • listening to that song from the 70s I understand the distinction between what is a perfect ESC song from before and now, via 2000s, ,like Stepford wife type of song as they say (watch “stepford wives” 1975 film, it’s a fantastic classic!)
