  1. ESC Nation poll (SEMI 2)
    1. FYR
    2. EST
    3. DNK
    4. HUN
    5. CHE
    6. BGR
    7. SRB
    8. ISR
    9. BLR
    10. NOR
    11. ROU
    12. AUT
    13. IRL
    14. RUS
    15. NDL
    16. HRV
    17. SMR
    18. LTU
    19. MLT

FYROM is another BEL/AZE case. With no live rendition so far, I am very skeptical and doubtful when it comes to their runaway winner status in semi2.
Switzerland is WAY too high in polls (I mean no way they will score higher than BGR or ROU this year).
Serbia is kinda overrated in betting odds too (same as last year before May)
I also doubt IRL will score anywhere higher than NLD or RUS tbh
    The bottom 4 seems locked

  2. A nice interview with Salvador posted today and with English subtitles….

    • I was about to post the same link. Thanks, Martin! Salvador looks and sounds very relaxed there. He claims that he will follow the melody of the song during ESC and avoid too many jazzy variations; Luísa made that suggestion. He will stay close to what we saw in FdC, I guess.

    • Indeed and here in Spain we understand him perfectly well, apart from english subtitles :-) I mean with his references to Mallorca etc, we love him very, very much here molta :-)

    • “a hotel full of fat Germans who are not listening” ROFL
      Thanks for posting this.

  3. So Salvador will be the ninth song of the first semi; not bad. I think he will sing right before the break.

  4. Sweden then for the win….mehhhh!

  5. no wonder we couldn’t care less in Spain etc

  6. I fear the worst for dear Salvador :-(

  7. This British fan explains why Italy win ESC 17:

P.S. – Sweden will win, imo. Its artificiality and bubble gum aspects will work too well, I suspect.

    • *Italy will win…

    • I dont think Sweden will win, if we compare to ”Heroes”, ”I Can’t Go On” is far more generic and plastic then it and imo Måns is overall a better artist and performer. Dami Im had also a better song and she imo was amazing live wereas Robin lacks in the vocal area here and there. I think that sweden will fail in the televoting and get a similar result as Frans last year, perhaps lower. The jury might fanwank it, but we will see, I hope not for their credibility as ”music experts”.

      • I see Sweden a 3rd like with “Popular” and “Undo”, also in averagy boring years and with decent swedish pop and cute singers

        • Yeah maybe, ugh this is actually the first year I really dont like our entry. I mean my personal score of it is 6/10 just like Frans last year, however I understood why ”If I were Sorry” won, but having our third in the televote win really gave a bad taste in my mouth tbh.

        • It definitely has Top 3 written all over it. The chorus is infectious and with Sweden bringing their usual slick staging, it will stand out as per, plus, people love to be told they’re (freaking) beautiful! ;)

      • I hope you’re right. We’ll see.

  8. 12 points to you is already in the bag I’m 100 sure :-)

  9. Absolutely thrilled with Ireland’s draw, right before 2 potential car crashes in SM and Croatia and is on as late as possible in semi 2, hopefully this means we actually have a good package planned!

    • he’s adorable and the song’s nice! of course it’s a good package!

      • I agree with all that! Hopefully we can add a good staging to that list! :P

        • Well they better have it sorted because we have no indication whatsoever at this point and they’ve had enough time. It better be good otherwise this will really not only look bad on old Louise and his newest plaything but also RTE once again. The latest we’ve ever presented our entry and live version. Not much room for change. I like the song a lot though (well, more than I would normally those boy-ballad-type songs) it has grown on me but whether this will be delivered well enough, I’m not sure at all.

          • I wouldn’t be worried about the date it was released, the song and video where ready to go about 2 weeks before its official release so they have had plenty of time for practice. Secondly being released late might be a good thing as RTE dont have enough time to think of a way to screw it up :P

      • but in the he wont win :-( so who will?
