Tonight: Second Super Saturday of 2017

Eurovision 2017Just like last year, we will witness Super Saturdays with many shows happening all at once. Instead of opening all threads, hard to follow for everyone, we decided to have just one thread for all shows to follow live so we can all discuss them together. Tonight: 7 shows including 2 finals!

logoHungaryA Dal sees the second semi-final take place this evening and we’ll know which acts will go into Hungary’s national final. Nine last acts are taking part tonight but only 4 can progress through to the final. You can watch it here

By definition, no, as RAI has changed its way of selecting its entries to Eurovision since their 2011 return in a different manner every time; however, they made it clearer this year that whoever wins gets offered the ticket. 1. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  2. Excellent top 3! Thank you for quality music, Sanremo!

  3. He won both sets of votes.

  4. Francesco 2nd. <3 Fiorella wins. <3 <3 <3 Will she do ESC? I think and hope not. She would be wasted on the juries and the voting public. Pearls before swine …

  5. Oh, Francesco won … LOL … I was writing a comment on PB during the votes. I hope that he’ll do ESC. :)

  6. So I’m guessing we won’t find out if he will for sure do Eurovision until later? Regardless, well deserved win!! And he looked so happy and grateful :).

  7. The first prediction of the year … Italy will be among the favourites ! Go Francesco !!!!

  8. His official twitter account retweets comment wishing him good luck in esc.

  9. If Francesco goes to ESC with this song, Italy 17 will be my new nº1!

P.S. – the Channel allusion will have to be ironed out though. :(

  10. Goodnight everyone! What a wonderful night 😃

  11. See you all, tomorrow! Supernova’s good songs await our support!

  12. What a fantastic night! The parade of artistically deficient tupperware in Sweden, drama in Spain and pure class in Italy. The ESC universe has it all. :)

    • I will take the “artifically deficient tupperware” and the drama over the dated, joke disgrace in Italy any day that’s for sure.

What a truly sad night – for the forum and esc both.

      • ROFL. Honestly, get a grip, mate …

        • Looking forward to that … not.
Have you ever herad of a thing called fun? Honestly, I did not want to say this but you have behaved like Mr. Trump for the last couple of days. Why can’t you cope with people liking what you dislike and disliking what you like?

          • I see that you are shouting now. Honestly, that was an ironic comment. I really don’t understand what your problem is, and we better leave it at that.
I haven’t seen a single personal attack except from you today, only opinions, which are legitimate no matter whether I like them or not. Honestly, what is your problem, mate?

            • And no this time we are not leaving it at that. This situation will be solved once and for all.

Every year I say I will be patient and it’s like you feel it’s a challenge and you raise the bar of vulgarity !

            • I’ll leave it at that and it is not up to you to decide.

            • It’s most definately up to me. This is not just about you and me btw. This is a forum wide issue surfacing every year in uglier and uglier ways.

I can already see the war of irony and mockery I will have to go through for opposing this unfortunate italian entry on here. I’ve learned how it works all these years.

  13. Chiara’s favourite was Francesco.
    Francesco has said “SI”!
