Italy – Tonight sees the 4th night of this year’s San Remo festival. You can watch tonight’s episode on Rai here at 20:35 (CET) and the show is expected to run for about 4 hours. There are 20 acts performing in the Campioni competition and 4 in the Nuove Proposte final.

Bianca was divine. The first masterpiece of the season imo. Her song already sits securely on my shopping list
Alessio is handsome and although his live vocals are not great his song is better than most esc entries chosen so far.

I always brace myself for unpleasant surprises in SR. I liked Ermal’s and Chiara’s recap snippets but they weren’t enough to really win me over. I’ll have to check the complete performances.
I like Gabanno, but i don’t want him in ESC, I want smth CLASSY in ESC for Italy! :( :( I want Fiorella, I want some Italian OLDSCHOOL CLASS, to hit me like a HURRICANE in the sea of other ESC songs!! I NEED that desperately!

I liked it too, I like 13 entries in SR 2017, and 12 of them in the final night..but she was n the dangerous zone after the second semi final she performed in, thus i doubt she can take the trophy..and this year they established that winner goes to ESC, if he refuses, then 2nd place, if that one refuses, then 3rd place and so on.. :)

A Super Saturday one is great unless people wish to avoid spoiler alerts.
It seems easier to have just one place. Usually if you chose to purposely not watch one yet, you do know you’ll get spoiled and I personally prefer hearing other people talking about it!
This year’s edition of San Remo is head and shoulders above all other national finals. The odds as they stand at this moment:
1) Fiorella Mannoia (with a huge lead)
2) Francesco Gabbani
3) Sergio Silvestre
4) Elodie
5) Chiara (WTF???)
I think the top4 makes a lot of sense and three of them will probably end up in the superfinal. Among the 16, Alessio Bernabei and Clementino are last in the odds. I thought Sergio improved vocally last night, but he was visibly nervous and sweaty and had terrible eye contact with the camera. I am sorry Giusi Ferreri’s amazing song is out, but she really brought it to herself with those lives. I have no objections to the rest of the eliminations, I am really glad that both Gigi and Al Bano are out.
