Poland – Broadcaster TVP this week revealed the official rules for Poland’s national selection for Eurovision 2017, Krajowe Eliminacje, and has brought back a 50/50 jury/televote decision for the final. Entrants must be Polish citizens and not have entered for any other country. Songs must be submitted by January 20th and TVP will reveal the finalists a week later. There is also a wildcard slot for any random entry that doesn’t have to follow the rules! The national final will take place on 11th February 2017.
Michał Szpak finished in 8th place for Poland last yer after winning big with the televoters but not with the juries. Poland’s highest finished was 2nd in 1994 with Edyta Górniak singing ‘To nie ja!‘.
