  1. It’s the second time Austria wins this one, after Conchita in 2014!

  2. Thw whole concept was very well put to work. The dress, the singer and the stage presentation worked out very effectively. Congrats!

  3. Personally, both in vocals and style I found the ladies extremely weak this year, it was brainstormingly hard to find five nominees in both categories. On the other hand, for the gentlemen, I had easily more than five legitimate candidates!

  4. Meh :P

  5. Well,it was good for the princess concept even though they could have chosen a better color.

  6. The only good option in female style imo!

  7. I definitely wanted Ukraine here. It was a much more artistic dress that worked well with the music and the backdrop.

    • Whereas I personally find the “princess concept” of Austria rather corny to say the least.

Actually when I was a kid, there were some adults who thought that I lacked imagination because I didn’t draw princesses (which is what everyone else did).

  8. I was mostly undecided about both Italy and Austria, sort of quite liking them both, but only just enough to dredge them out of the ‘meh’ bucket. In both cases, the cloyingly twee staging, costumes and overall performance tipped both over the edge into the generic gloop. If that is what we are calling ‘style’ then we have a deserved winner. Congratulations…

  9. My top-5 female style for 2016:

    1. Austria
    2. Australia
    3. Bulgaria
    4. Italy
    5. Armenia

Coming up with even a top-5 was a struggle this year. In fact everything except the first place has serious problems that would have doomed it any other year.
