Austria: New Music from Lukas Plöchl

Wendja Lukas PlochlPast Participants – Of course you can remember the Trackshittaz who represented Austria in Baku 2012. The duo split in 2015 but Lukas Plöchl has come back with more solo music. What else has have the recently split duo been up to?

In 2012, Austria were represented by Hip Hop Duo Trackshittaz with their song “Woki Mit Deim Popo”. Despite being a talking point witin the fandom, they did not do well coming last in their semi final.

The Trackshittaz consisted of members Lukas Plöchl and Manuel Hoffelner (also known as Manix). The Duo took an hiatus in 2013 and Lukas released his first self titled solo album the same year. In 2014 the duo reunited and released their fourth studio album “#TS4”

The duo parted ways in 2015 and Manix has since been inactive on the music scene but Lukas has returned with his second studio album under the creative name of WENDJA. “Poet and Prolet” will be released in August but can pre-ordered on iTunes now. You can listen to his first single from this album “Vermessung der Welt” (“Measuring the World”) below:
