TEKO 2016: Results of SF2!

TEKO 2016 smTHE Eurovision Knockout 2016 – The votes have been counted in the second semi-final! It was a quite close contest in this heat which saw Latvia and France go head to head for a chance to go through to the grand final. Check out who won now…

Results of SF2:

Latvia: 43%
France: 57%

So it’s France’s Amir singing ‘J’ai cherché’  through to the Grand final to take on Italy!

  1. Atleast in this semi my favourite won!

  2. Hm, I had hoped for Latvia here. It’s a much more interesting song.

  3. I voted for Latvia but expected a French win.

  4. Nice! It would’ve been hard for Latvia to upset France in this one.

  5. That was closer than expected. I do hope he can take on Italy in the final (although TEKO winners do not tend to do well in esc in which case gooo Fransesca lol !)

In all seriousness though, congrats to Amir and fingers crossed he wins this final and another final next saturday !

  6. Interesting resistance from Latvia, considering that Italy did really well in OGAE votes it’s not that big a surprise silent voters could back Francesca if they didnt like Jamala at all, but while Amir is huge in OGAE, Justs got nil pts from them so there are still enough silent voters plus regulars to push this one closer than expected!

  7. Voted for France but the whole semi was kinda meh for me. Would have preferred a Ukraine VS Italy as the Final ! :P

  8. Expected. Congrats!

  9. Sacré bleu! :o

Mille millions de mille milliards de mille sabords! :(

  10. YES! France for da win!
