In 2015 she was chosen to present the Junior version of the song contest which was hosted in Sofia.

Lyrics:
(Taken from Eurovision.tv)

You and I we collide
Like the stars on the summer night
We can shine for ever

And you and we’re alive
What we feel is what is right
We can run like never

If love was a crime then we would be criminals
Locked up for life but I’ll do the time
If love was a crime then we would work miracles
High above the ground

О, дай ми любовта (3)
They will never break us down
О, дай ми любовта! (3)
They will never break us down

Never mind
Wrong or right
Our love ain’t got no pride
So we change for better

Unafraid
Never fade
When it’s dark we illuminate
Can we rise together

If love was a crime then we would be criminals
Locked up for life but I’ll do the time
If love was a crime then we would work miracles
High above the ground

О, дай ми любовта! (3)
They will never break us down
О, дай ми любовта! (3)
They will never break us down

Together we’re untouchable
You and me against the world
Together we’re invincible
Together we’re untouchable
You and me against the world
Together we’re invincible
They will never break us down

  1. I wasn’t a fan of the song to begin with. And as if this wasn’t enough, I didn’t like what I saw in the rehearsal. I was hoping that Poli, who is a fine performer, could save it.

Thank you for the spotlight articles, Jade.

  2. I tart to like the song tbh but still prefer “Na Inat” to this!

  3. Talented singer who deserved a better song.

  4. Insanely overrated due to sympathy from esc fans for 2011 injustice, then there’s the fact that it was revealed late, and oh surprisingly, it wasnt as awful as almost all Bulgarian esc entries… but seriously, one of the WORST rehearsals seem to send Bulgaria back home early, fairly so

  5. I loved her back in 2011, but “If Love Was A Crime” is starting to become more and more reminiscent of Israel 2014 (another certain qualifier), which is worrying.

  6. In the midst of the esc full season chaos,Mikael Saari released his first album “The Grand Letdown”.It contains the original extended version of “We should be through”.The first single is a duet i fell in love with plus the album can be streamed on spotify:

  7. Not exactly a great piece of art, but quite good for what it is. Well crafted. I think it deserves to go to the final.
