Well it is an one choice poll for me practically but “Lighthouse” is the best Croatian entry ever probably imo so I am glad that it takes my vote :-) !

It seems that Russia 16 is everywhere in Greece these days (radio, tv, super markets, gym etc.) I am now more than sure that it will be our 12 pts in May. Hoping for a surprise.
I haven’t heard it once in Germany yet and I would be very surprised if RUS16 became a hit here.
What’s the trend re: Germany voting for Russia in esc?

We gave 12 pts last year because Polina’s song was a) a jurywank and b) we have a large Russian community here in Germany. But then the audience watching ESC here in Germany has next to no relevance when it comes to defining what is popular in Germany beyond ESC night.

I’d say there are a lot of boring songs this year, but Italy’s is not among them.

There’s this whole Greek team behind it so it’s being promoted as the second greek entry in esc this year.
And since patriotism counts more than taste… I hear you, but it’s still sad :/ Plus promotions work a lot in Greece, I remember Greece giving France 12pts in 2011 after it got a huge boost there prior to the contest!
It may be partly patriotic and partly the simple fact that it’s a Kontopoulos song so it’s a familiar sound for Greeks.I’m sure the juries will like it because they either know him or want to work with him.I should note that in Greece he isn’t among the most successful composers atm.
Russia 16 is nowhere to be heard here, Oxi. ESC will be going to Russia in 2017; only a miracle (and not of the Azerbaijani/Swedish kind) will prevent that from happening.
As Dimitris said, it’s the Greek team behind it that makes it a special case for the Greeks.

Hm, I’m not a big fan of any of them, but I will vote for Croatia. It is good until the chorus sets in.
Russia – melodiless plastic embroidered with just everything there is on the face of the planet so that everyone doesn’t notice that fact. Croatia – good song+good vocals. Croatia got my vote.

After listen every song from this year , i must say that the best entrys soooooo far in quality are …………………… France , and Germany , Spain i find really also good , but please if Rusia win , that go to be the most unfair win ever

Both overrated by fans imo! Russia will most probably win semi while I am remaining sceptical about Croatia’s appeal on the average viewer in May…
I think they will both make it to the final with Russia winning the semi and Croatia scoring somewhere around 5th-7th.

Moldova’s song is composed by the same Norwegian songwriter who wrote Icebraker.

Come on! :P I think she looks fine and she sounds great.
Seriously, that hair can ruin this wonderful entry and undermine the fact that she is s really lovely girl. It hasn’t been too good with hairs in Serbia either this year.
Poor Nina, I think she only has bad hair days and even worse hair days.
Although she always goes a bit off-ish towards the end, with a performance like that I can see an easy top-10 come May.
Well,i’m not that optimistic about their chances tbh.A qualification and a top-15 finish would be great.

Yes, but there is absolutely nothing to remember this song by the end of the day. Which explains why they scandalously put her last in her semi. If she appeared between the breaks she would be toast. Now she has some chances.
