  1. Easy one, I voted for Cyprus.

Used to like Denmark but sick of hearing my mum play it!

  2. Definitely Germany. Cyprus is good but not great while Denmark is so boring.

  3. After a day’s voting there’s only 1% in it! A very close one so far…

  4. Germany: 1st
    Cyprus: 23rd
    Denmark: 27th

Ahh, my winner! I can’t say enough good things about “Ghost” and Jamie-Lee, almost everything about it is done beautifully already, and if they tweak the presentation just a bit, they’ll have something easily ready to take Europe by storm. Cyprus is pop-rock that talks some of the biggest game I’ve heard in a while and fails to deliver spectacularly, while Lighthouse X is a slightly undercooked boy band song. Neither is really horrible, but they are definitely part of the sea of meh in this year.

  5. Another easy one for me.

Cyprus: Humdrum pop-rock. Very much in the meh bucket.

Denmark: This was in the meh bucket the first couple of times I heard it, but it has earwormed its way out. A few hooks and arrangement details buoy up what could have been a dull song.

Germany: Very much one of my favourites this year. Understated, moody, sad, quietly insistent. Curious choice of outfit.

    My vote goes to… Germany!
