Lithuania: Eurovizja Line Up Continues

lithuaniaLithuania – Show five has concluded and the results are in. Tonight was the second show for those who entered the contest without a song and they again sung the song they had been paired with by LRT. As this is Lithuania we are now only just past the half way mark of the process

Ten acts competed in a pre-recorded show in front of the Lithuanian Jury and the show was aired tonight so that the International Jury and Public could decide who they wanted to see through.

Ieva Zasimauskaitė “Life (Not That Beautiful)”
Baiba “Mayday”
Berta Timinskaitė “Stars in a Rainbow”
Ieva Zasimauskaitė “Life (Not That Beautiful)”
Neringa Šiaudikytė “Never Knew Love”
4 Roses “Butterfly”
Ruslanas Kirilkinas “In My World”
Aistė Pilvelytė “You Bet”
Saulenė Chlevickaitė “Strong”
Milda Martinkėnaitė “If Tomorrow Never Comes”
E.G.O. “Long Way From Home”

As usual there were two juries. An International Jury and a Lithuanian Jury. They and the public all had a say and the eight qualifiers were:

Aistė Pilvelytė 12pts
Ruslanas Kirilkinas 10pts
Ieva Zasimauskaitė 8pts
4 Roses 7pts
Saulenė Chlevickaitė 6pts
Milda Martinkėnaitė 5pts
Neringa Šiaudikytė 4pts
E.G.O 3pts

  1. I don’t even know what happens next. This selection process hurts my brain

  2. Ieva won the international jury vote again. Those notorious fixers over there are conspiring to eliminate her.

I said it in the super Saturday thread and it is 100% true. Team Ignition is the best Eurovision related team to not have performed at Eurovision proper in the history of the contest. Easily.

  3. Pity for Berta Timinskaitė and “Stars in a rainbow”. It should get through imo !
Are we done with 16 finalists or is there another elimination show?
The obvious contenders here are :
    Donny
    Aiste
and unfortunately Ruta (I like Ieva and Errica instead).
Petunija, 4 Roses, Saulenė, Egle Jakštyte and Ruslanas complete my top 10 but no song scores above 8/10
