Hungary: Semi-Final Line Up Complete

ADal 2016Hungary – Today saw the 3rd and final heat of the Hungarian National Selection Process A Dal. Another sic out of ten acts have qualified for the semi finals meeting the twelve semi finalists that qualified from Heats One & Two. Read on to find out who is through.

The order the contestants performed in were as follows and you can watch the performances by clicking the song link. In brackets I have put the scores from the four jury members, the public E.g. (J-J-J-J-P (Total))

Round One of voting saw a top five based on the scores given by the public and the four jury members. These were…

There was a tie between Nika, Viki and Olivér but the jury decided that Nika should go through. Round Two of voting saw the public pick a 6th qualifier from the five acts that did not make it through Round One. This qualifier was Olivér Berkes & Andi Tóth

These will now join the qualifiers from Heats One and Two in the Semi Final Stages which start next week. You can remind yourself of the former qualifiers below:

Heat One Qualifiers Freddie, Benji, Mushu, Egy Másik Zenekar, ByTheWay and Reni Tolvai
Heat Two Qualifiers Gergő Oláh, Laci Gáspár, André Vásáry, Karmapolis & Böbe Szécsi and Kállay Saunders Band

The Final 18 will be split into two groups of nine for the Semi Finals where four acts will qualify from each and perform in the Grand Final on February 27th

  1. The line ups for the 2 semis have been decided.I wonder who on earth allocated the songs like that.The first semi is a bloodbath while the second is extremely weak!
