Lithuania: Two More Leave Eurovizija 2016


lithuaniaLithuania – In show 1 and 2 of Eurovizija ten singers who entered the contest with a song already composed won the right to perform again in tonight’s show, the 4th of the series. Eight qualified onto the next stages including former Eurovision Representatives Erica Jennings and Donny Montell

The songs that performed today were:

Catrinah “Be Free”
Erica Jennings “Leading Me Home”
Behind the Moon “Did It All”
Alice Way “Hero”
Rūta Ščiogolevaitė “United”
Valdas Lacko “Stay Tonight”
Petunija “Tomorrow”
Donny Montell “I’ve Been Waiting For This Night”
Eglė Jakštytė “Let Me Show You”
Ištvan Kvik & Ellada “Please Don’t Cry”

The public, an international jury and national jury all scored the songs and each score was added up to determine the following qualifiers:

Donny Montell 22pts
Rūta Ščiogolevaitė 22pts
Erica Jennings 16pts
Catrinah 14pts
Ištvan Kvik & Ellada 12pts
Valdas Lacko 11pts
Eglė Jakštytė 10pts
Petunija 9pts

Even though Rūta and Donny tied, Donny is the winner of this heat having beat Rūta in the jury vote. Next week the ten artists that qualified from show 3 will all compete to join the above eight contestants as the competition for a winner nears it’s end.

  7. The Lithuanian selection extended for 2 weeks.The final will take place on March 12.2 more shows have been added. :/
